Purpose:

As an Admissions Assistant at Virginia Tech Innovation Campus, my primary goal is to promote the MEng program and its events to prospective students and others who may be interested in the program.

Description:

For monthly events, I designed letter-sized (8.5" x 11") flyers and posters and advertised them on campus. For tabling events, square flyers were provided for students to take with them. Events were advertised by emailing staff and faculty and asking them to share the information with their students, as well as through class-visit presentations and social media promotion on platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook.

Outcome:

Increased event participation rate up to 275%.
